Reintroducing Myself: Where I've Been and Where I'm Headed
Y’all, it’s been nine months. Nine months since my last blog post—almost a whole pregnancy. (And trust me, trying to figure out life these past months has been just as draining as bringing a baby into the world.) If you’ve been following me for a while, you already know consistency has not been my strong suit. But here I am, showing up again. Because honestly? It’s time.
I’ve been in this weird space lately, trying to figure out what I want to do, what direction I’m headed, and what I’m even passionate about anymore. You ever feel like you have so many ideas, but the moment you try to move on one, you’re just stuck? Yeah, that’s been me.
I kept saying, “I’ll start tomorrow,” or “I’ll get it together next month.”
Well, those months turned into almost a year.
But here’s the thing: I’m not ashamed of it. It happens to the best of us. Life happens.
One thing about me? I’m gonna keep it real. I’m not the "wake up at 5 AM, meditate for an hour, and hustle 24/7" type.
I’m the type that starts over again,
and again,
and AGAIN if I have to.
And that's exactly what I'm doing.
So, What’s the Plan Now?
We’re only three months from 2025, and I’ve decided this year isn’t gonna catch me slipping. I want to use this last quarter to lay a solid foundation—not just for this blog, but for me. I know it won’t be perfect, and I know it won’t be easy. But you know what? It's gonna be worth it.
This foundation starts today. No more waiting for the perfect time, the perfect inspiration, or the perfect anything. I’m just showing up, and that’s step one. And if you’re reading this and feeling the same way, I want you to know that we don’t have to have it all figured out before we start.
What You Can Expect from Me
Let’s be clear: this is gonna be a journey. I don’t have all the answers, but I’m committed to doing the work. You’re gonna see me being real about my struggles with consistency, setting goals, and figuring out what lights me up. But more importantly, you’ll see me pushing through, even on the hard days. This blog is about holding myself accountable, but also building something meaningful.
Here’s how I see it: we can either keep playing small, or we can use every single day to build something bigger. I’m choosing the latter, and I hope you’ll stick with me through the process.
So, cheers to new beginnings, even if they come after some starts and stops. We’re moving forward from here.
If you’ve been struggling with consistency like me, drop a comment. Let’s keep each other accountable in this journey. And if you’ve got tips or words of encouragement, don’t hold out on me! We’re all in this together.
Let’s lay the foundation for something great.
